There's nothing like having a stash of junk to create with, right? I've had the opportunity to take a busted up anitque Morris rocking chair and turn it into all sorts of new treasures. My latest creation is making use of the base. From the minute I saw it, I saw an animal. This tired frame is not much to look at right off, but I see an animal lurking in there...do you?
With some elbow grease and a DIY attitude, we were able to make modifications and improve the structure to make it suitable for use.
These cast iron parts that came off the back rest of the chair would be a perfect whimsical addition to this project.
A horse that was meant to be, and all made from with a reclaimed barn wood head, baby crib parts, broken furniture parts, and the cast iron rocking chair parts for a mane. Nothing goes to waste around here!
