Giving a Furniture Piece a Little Extra "oomph"

This months was the theme "icing on the cake" and I am a gal that loves to do more then just paint furniture. I feel like they are my way to bring out my creative vision. This piece had a little bit of everything from changing its size, adding color, beautiful hardware from D. Lawless Hardware and the "icing" was adding some beautiful paper onto the drawer fronts.

The finished piece! I cut her legs down, painted the base with Old Fashion Milk Paint in Driftwood and added some beautiful floral paper.

In the middle of the project I wasnt sure if I wanted all the drawer faces to have paper or not so I took a quick progress photo and stared at it awhile to help me make my decision. Which I quickly decided to drive in and paper all the drawers, the paper was too pretty not to use as the main focal point.

These glass knobs are the perfect finishing touch bring it all together!
