Coral & Ivory Dresser Makeover

I have a client that is in the middle of renovating their guest bedroom. He had picked out a quilt that he wanted to work around the colors.
He had 2 cane back chairs he wanted painted & reupholstered, but was looking for a dresser. This is the one we choose for the room.

It was the perfect size and had just the right details.





He brought me the fabric that he wanted to have the chairs reupholstered in, and we took that with my Benjamin Moore color wheel to match up a nice Off-White and Coral.





We went with colors called Ivory Tower and Hydrangea Flowers. Stunning colors & I couldn't wait to get started on this project!





First up was getting the chairs painted.





And, then moving onto the dresser...





It's all starting to come together. I had painted the dresser base first and as it was drying I upholster the 2 seats for the chairs. And, then I went on to paint the top of the dresser.





My client wanted to use the same fabric on the dresser to bring in some texture. So we decided to use it on 2 of the drawers.. We used the original hardware, but gave them a little face lift by spray painting them gold & blotting a little to create a more vintage look.





The top drawer was painted in the ivory as well... I added just a little of the hydrangea flowers to the side flower to give it a pop.











It's really a beautiful transformation that my client absolutely loves!!!





The colors flow well together. And, this space is going to be gorgeous!!!
