Adding details to pillows gives them interest and character. Attaching an applique may look hard to do, but it really isn't at all.

By using iron-on webbing to secure your applique while stitching onto the fabric, things remain aligned perfectly.

Cut out your applique fabric into the desired shape. Finish the edge with serging or zig-zag stitches.

Stitch small cording around the applique cut-out.

Cut heat-n-bond into the applique shape.

Iron applique onto the center of your pillow front.

Top-stitch around applique to secure to fabric.

Sew into a pillow and enjoy!
