I've successfully painted nearly 100 pieces of furniture with home made chalk paint. So, what's the secret to getting the best results? Well there is no secret, but there are a few tips to ensure you get premium results!

So here's Tip I've found is that a mixture of Plaster of Paris, combined with powdered Calcium Carbonate has given me the BEST results!
and Tip The other trick is to mix the powder in hot water before adding to your paint. And mix, mix, mix to remove all lumps and dissolve the powder (the hot water helps a lot!)
The result has been fabulous painted pieces....and the money saved on paint means I can buy more furniture ;)
