IKEA Ribba Book Nook

We used IKEA Ribba photo ledges to build a book nook for our young son. The book covers face out and our easy to grasp. An IKEA Lack table serves as a desk and a shower rod and curtain make this spot a fun hideaway.

When our home plans were originally drawn, this area was part of a huge closet for our son. We knew he didn't need that much space, so we knew we could make it a fun book nook now, and a study area when he gets older. All it took to get started was 5 IKEA Ribba shelves.

It didn't take much time at all to line up the shelves and drill them in.

Our son has been using this nook book 3 years now. It has held up well, although Thomas has been replaced by many, many books about rockets and space.
