DIY Painted Doormat

Today I would like to share with you my DIY painted Doormat. Door mats can be kind of pricey, don’t you agree? Well. I didn’t want to pay the expensive prices, but I wanted something unique and a little sassy, so I decided to buy an inexpensive doormat from Ikea and paint it myself. So simple, and inexpensive!

All I needed was black spray paint and some stencils. I decided to spray paint our house number right in the middle, and then Hi! and Bye! in each corner. I used black spray paint for this project, and in retrospect I think it would have turned out much more sharp if I had hand painted it. So I would recommend you hand paint it.

This was such a quick, easy project that really spiced up my doormat! If you don’t want to pay the price for a cute doormat, give painting one a try!
