There's something about pineapples that's just fun and happy! If you have an old mason jar, this project is a great recycle/upcycle. Make it for yourself, or as a back to school gift for a teacher.First, gather your supplies.
Supplies: Yellow spray paint, a pint sized mason jar, a faux succulent and an oil based paint pen. You'll also want to grab some vinyl or contact paper and some candy!
Step 1: Cut an oval shape out of a scrap of vinyl or contact paper. You can always trace something oval shaped (or circle shaped would work well too).
Step 2: Stick oval shape on jar and spray paint the jar yellow.
Step 3: Remove the vinyl
Step 4: Use the oil based marker to draw "v's" on the jar.
Here's what it looks like after the "v's" are drawn.
Step 5: Add some candy inside the jar.
Step 6: Place the faux succulent on top. Super sweet gift idea! To grab the free "Have a Sweet School Year" watercolor pineapple tags, visit my blog.
